St
Andrew Corsini was Italian Carmelite friar and bishop of
Fiesole. Regarded as a prophet and miracle worker, he became
known as the 'Apostle of Florence'. The Corsini Chapel at St
John Lateran was dedicated to him by Pope Clement XII, who was
a relative.
