He received 80 scudi for the work.

Statue created - c.1702-1703
Marchionni committed to sculpt the statue in January 1702 and delivered it in March 1703.

Height - 3.1 m. (10ft 4in) travertine

St Andrew Corsini was Italian Carmelite friar and bishop of Fiesole. Regarded as a prophet and miracle worker, he became known as the 'Apostle of Florence'. The Corsini Chapel at St John Lateran was dedicated to him by Pope Clement XII, who was a relative.
