St. Julian of Antinoe
Died - c. Early Fourth century

Feastday - 6 January

Statue Installed - 1702-1703
In August 1702 Gabbani undertook to create the sculpture, which he delivered 9 May 1703.

Sculptor - Antonio Gabbani
He received 80 scudi for the work.
This is the only known work of the sculptor.

Height - 3.1 m. (10ft 4in) travertine

This saint is thought to be St Julian martyred in Antinoe the the fourth century along with St Celsus and Basilissa.  This is confirmed by the proximity to St Celsus (59), and the palm in his left hand. However, the clothing alludes to an episcopal status that St Julian did not possess.
