Height
- 3.1 m. (10ft 4in) travertine Represented without
attributes, her right hand is raised toward the Vatican
Basilica, and her left supports the folds of a wide cloak.
According to Eusebius, she was a seventeen year old girl who
sought to be executed as a martyr to Chrisitanity at Caesarea
in 307 AD.
Perhaps because of her intentional seeking of martyrdom, she
was removed from the Roman Martyrology 2001.
